Why "Remember Victoria"?

Simply put, Victoria was the most beautiful and literate magazine I have ever seen. Those of us who loved the original find it hard to put into words why we felt and still feel this way. There were so many things that drew us to her pages. The beauty of the photography, the depth of literary features, the lure of the travel articles, and more introduced us to so many lovely things we never knew about. Then there were the regular features such as Favorite Things, Children's Corner, Pen & Paper, The Charms of Tea, Chimes and more that captured not just our minds and hearts, but our spirits.

I fell in love with this cover the moment I first saw it in my mailbox!!! The quiet charms of home are those I love to cultivate...

I think I have several copies of that particular issue...... whenever I'd see extras at a second hand bookstore, or someone less smitten with Victoria tossing out her copies, I'd gather a few more around me.

I have my original set, plus these extras for making collages or snipping out favorite photos or articles to tuck in a place where I can easily enjoy them.
